Since its inception in 2005 ThoughtSpark has specialized in technical consulting services focusing primarily on J2EE (ATG) technologies. ThoughtSpark software engineers have architected, built and deployed commerce websites for several Fortune 500 retailers including American Eagle Outfitters and Chico's FAS. ThoughtSpark has focused on ATG Commerce as the hub technology for its clients, however there have been many ancillary ATG products that ThoughtSpark has integrated and deployed. These products include Search, Call Center, Order Management/Fulfillment, Content Administration, Merchandising, Promotion Management and others. ThoughtSpark leads its valued clients through all phases of the software development lifecycle from the project kick-off meeting through post launch support. Additionally, ThoughtSpark will personally assist in the cross-training of internal technical resources.

The business analysis services will begin with a thorough evaluation of a client's existing business processes in e-commerce, call center, order management, order fulfillment and warehouse management. Next, the analysis will focus on the long term goals of the client's e-business. Once a firm understanding of the existing business processes is obtained and the goals of the business are clearly determined, a detailed plan will be developed. This plan will include a clear roadmap for implementing a long term solution. In addition to these new business services, ThoughtSpark will also be introducing a full suite of test services. These services include the development of a test plan, test/use cases, unit testing and finally the creation and execution of load scripts. Upon the completion of each test phase, ThoughtSpark engineers will advise on the necessary infrastructure, architecture or code enhancements to ensure that a client's production application will continually perform at a high level.
